 Cultural Week
What an amazing week we had, celebrating the rich diversity within our school community.  The students in Room 4 were able to enjoy a range of activities at lunchtime.  Please ask your child what they enjoyed about Cultural Week.
Thank you to all the parents for your support with organising your child's cultural clothing.  They all looked amazing and they were so proud to wear their special clothing. 
We had an assembly on Friday and there were items from all around the world to enjoy.

Today we showed our zentangle patterns at our Junior Assembly.  The students felt very proud of their work.

Kendra and Sebastian, from Room 4,  led the singing for our assembly.  They did such a great job.

The students completed their domino blocks.  We now have a set of them so the students will be able to use them in the classroom.  How clever Room 4 are to make their own domino set!

For their next activity they sanded a piece of wood so it was smooth on all edges.  Then they got an outline of a heart, kiwi or a star and hammered some nails into the wood.  They used loom bands and put them around the nails.  What an amazing piece of art they created!
