Taniwha Art

We have been been discussing what a taniwha is and what they look like.  The children viewed a variety of pictures and we talked about the features of a taniwha.
Then they did a pencil outline of a taniwha and drew the features.  The children outlined this in black felt pen and then used pastels to colour their work.
They had so much fun!!

We showed our art at a full school assembly.
