Junior Cross Country - Friday 27 November
What a very exciting day we had today.
We all enjoyed running during the Cross Country. The weather was perfect as it wasn't cold and it wasn't too hot. The Year 2 students ran around the field twice and they did so well. It was wonderful to see so many parents watching the students today.

Volcano Art
Room 4 designed their own volcano art.
We researched information about volcanoes and then we worked on our own volcano art. The students used tissue and made their mountain. After it dried the background was dyed then they painted their mountain. Then they worked on the lava coming out of the volcano. The students used a 'taping' technique which is using two paintbrushes, one with paint on it and the other one is taped so that the paint falls on their work. This makes it look like lava coming out of the volcano.
