The students in Room 4 go to the hall on Thursday afternoon to meet Jazzy from Footsteps and learn new dance routines to music.  The students have been learning about the five elements of dance, they are time, energy, space, relationships and body awareness.  Enjoy looking at the photos and watching the video.

Assembly Item to Celebrate Our Mothers - Friday 9 May

On Friday Room 4 did a Mother's Day item.  Before the item started we listened to Erica playing the piano, she was wonderful.  The children in Room 4 did a dance and showed their amazing charts about their mothers.  Then Peyton, Emily, Yousef, Victoria and Eddie read their writing about their mothers.

Thank you to Peyton and Brianna for being hosts at our Junior assembly and Ariel and Darren for introducing our item.

The students took home their Mother's Day charts to give to their mothers as a gift.

STEM with Mr Rankin

 STEM with Mr Rankin - Monday 31 March and Tuesday 1 April

Mr Rankin talked about super heroes.  The students built a snail and added coding to it as they worked on different flashing lights and sounds.  Then they moved to designing a robot with a partner and they added coding to the robot as well.

They had a wonderful time with Mr Rankin.  Please ask them what they did during their two days of learning.

Thank you to the parents who were able to come during the students time with Mr Rankin, it was very much appreciated.
