We had a wonderful day at Howick Historical Village
First we went into a large house and we played parlour games. The children enjoyed playing tunnel ball, hunt the ring, throw the clean hanky and pass the rope over your body.
Then we went to look around the village. We saw many small houses and some shops, we even saw a school building. Some of the children had a go at collecting water from a pump.
After that we played with some indoor toys. Please look at the photos and below and you will see the children playing with some of them.
Finally we played some outddoor games. The children really enjoyed using the stilts, hobby horses, hoops and skimmers, skittles, quoits and skipping ropes.
