Flower Art
The students were involved in designing their own flowers. They used a dyed background and the
branch shapes were put on. Then we talked about complementary colours and cool and warm
colours. The students designed their own flowers using colourful tissue paper then they added
paint to add interest to the flower shapes. The last step was to add texture to the background.
During our writing time they thought of a descriptive sentence to describe their art.
