Our Trip to Tip Top

We had a fabulous trip to Tip Top.  The children were given a tour of the factory and they found out so much information about how ice cream is made.

Cultural Diversity

It is World Day for Cultural Diversity on the 21 May.
At Point View School we celebrated this at assembly.

Technology with Mr Rankin

The children worked in the technology room over two days, Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th of May.
They had an amazing time working with cars, discussing gravity and friction, designing cars and testing them in a variety of situations.
Enjoy looking at the photos and ask your child what they were doing.  I am sure you will be delighted with their knowledge.

Robot Art and Writing

What fun the children had dessigning their own robot.

First we looked at lots of different shaped robots on our ActivBoard and discussed them.
Then we used black paper to make the shape of the robot.

Then the children used: coloured paper, corrugated cardboard, newspaper, tinfoil and googly eyes to add interest to their robot.

All the children shared their work at assembly.
