Kiwiball with Marco - Monday 29 October

We had a wonderful afternoon with Marco who is from Kiwiball.  He returned to Point View School to work with us again.
The children used gloves when they were fielding and they enjoyed getting the ball and putting it on to the stand.  The children who were batting wore helmets and they enjoyed using the bat and moving towards all the bases before they got to the home base.

The children had so much fun today at technology.
They were learning to look closely at things and ask questions.  The children traced around their hands and added the details.  They then asked questions to develop their curious minds.
The children made a Curiosity Wheel.  Each week they will turn the Curiosity Wheel for 3 seconds.  Find an object that matches what you land on.  Draw it and write down your questions.  Stay curious!
The children learned about force.
They also used a sphero and programmed it to move around the table.  The sphero was connected to the app.  What fun!
