Our Trip to Kelly Tarlton's

What a wonderful day we had at Kelly Tarltons.
We walked inside and saw the penguins, they were amazing.  Then we saw the elephant shark and the stingrays.  We travelled on the conveyor belt and viewed lots and lots of interesting creatures from the sea.  We went into a classroom and a lady talked to us about lots of saline and we found out about their habitat and what they like to do.

Enjoy looking at some of the photos of the wonderful things we saw.

Maori Lessons

Whaea Paddy came to Room 4 to teach us Maori.  She told us that there were 15 letters in the alphabet.  We learned the numbers to 20 in Maori and the days of the week.  Then we played a game with the days of the week.
We had so much fun!

Author: Stu Duval

Stu Duval came to Point View School to introduce his new book called 'The Giant Gear-Stick of Grooviness'.
He drew some cartoons from letters and numbers and then told a very funny story.
