Visit to Butterfly Creek - Monday 26 March

Visit to Butterfly Creek - Monday 26 March
What a wonderful day we had today at Butterfly Creek.
We really enjoyed visiting the butterflies and looking at the range of colours and patterns.  Some landed on the children's heads and one landed on Jessica's hand!  The butterflies enjoyed flying around and landing on some fruit and leaves.
We visited the Dinosaur Kingdom.  The dinosaurs looked so real and some of them were huge.  They made dinosaur sounds as we passed them!
The children visited the Farm Yard and enjoyed looking and patting some of the animals.  There were very cute rabbits, birds, sheep, and goats.
After lunch we visited the crocodiles and watched a crocodile show.  We saw them eating and moving slow, then fast.  We were very safe as they were in an enclosure and we were up high, looking down at them.
We were all very tired after the trip.  Some children even had a sleep on the bus going back to
Point View School.
Enjoy looking at the photos:

The Life Education Caravan

The Life Education Caravan - 20/3/18
Today we went to the Life Education Caravan to learn all about being unique.  We met Pamela and she told us that it is OK to be different and to like different things.  We talked about having different voices, different hair and different eyes.  We learned that what makes us unique is the way that we think, what we like to do, the way that we act and the way that we feel.  We watched a video of a super special person and he was proud of all the things that he does.  We met Harold the giraffe and he told us that we should be glad about who we are.  Jessica and Levi put a puzzle together about being unique.
