Sharing our Blog with our Buddy Class - 29/3/19
Today we met our buddy class and we shared our classroom blog with them and they shared their classroom blog with us.  It gave us the opportunity to discuss what we have been doing in our classroom and answer any questions that the buddy had for the students.  It also showed us what they might be doing when the students are in Year 6.

What fun we had today with our buddy class.  We went orienteering with them around our school.  The students paired up with their buddy and they had to find special parts of the school by using a map.  When they found it they used a controller and clipped the pattern on the card to show that they found it.
This was so much fun!  Thank you Room 24.

We started buddy reading today and met our new buddies for the year.  Room 4 are working with Room 24 who are Year 6 students.  The students were very excited to meet their buddy and share their reading with each other.

Butterfly Art

Butterfly Art
The children have been learning about the life cycle of the butterfly.
They discussed the features of a butterfly and we looked at some of the pictures of butterflies online.  The children designed pencil sketches of many butterflies and then they decided on the one to enlarge on to paper.  They used pastel to create their butterfly and then they thought about their background, using a range of textures.
