We have had lots of fun this term.

Pirate and Fairy Day - Tuesday 22 September

What an exciting day we had today.  All the students came to school dressed as pirates or fairies.

At the beginning of the day we had a parade and all the students had the opportunity to walk with their class and share their amazing costumes.

When we came back to the classroom we designed pirate and fairy puppets.  The students made them using a paper bag and coloured paper.  Then we made our own pirate or fairy bookmark which will be very handy.  After that we enjoyed singing and moving to pirate and fairy songs.  Then we made our own map for the pirate to get to the treasure and the fairy to get to the castle.  After that the students designed their own pirate or fairy, using large paper.  They had lots of fun doing that.  At the end of the day the students went to find some pirate and fairy treasure in the classroom.  They found necklaces, spinners, compasses, telescopes and yo-yos. 

It was a fabulous day of fun and excitement.
