Our Trip to Te Tuhi - Tuesday 29 October
We went to Te Tuhi and had a wonderful time.
The students met Bree who was our art teacher. We went outside to look at a very special sculpture. Bree took us into her art studio and we all put our aprons on. The students made their own sculpture using rods. The children learned about primary colours, secondary colours and tertiary colours. Each student designed their own colour wheel. To get the secondary colours they had to mix two primary colours. To get the tertiary colours they had to use a primary and secondary colour and mix them together.
It was such fun. Please talk to your family about our trip.
