Caterpillars and Butterflies

We are having lots of fun checking our caterpillars each morning.  They are munching and crunching the leaves so quickly.  We now have two chrysalis hanging on the milkweed plant and we are waiting to see the butterflies.

Flower Art

WOW!!!  We had lots of fun creating flowers in a vase.  
We looked closely at lots of different flowers and discussed the shapes.  The children used pastels to design their own special vase and then they worked on their flowers.
Then they outlined their work in black pastel.
They are very proud of their work

What a wonderful Christmas Show we had at Point View School.  The children had lots of fun singing and dancing with Room 3 on stage.

1/12/16 Omana Beach

Our Trip to Omana Beach
What a wonderful sunny day we had at Omana Beach.  We enjoyed our morning tea when we arrived and then we went with our helpers to explore the beach.  The children enjoyed going on a treasure hunt to find things at the beach and they understood the importance of keeping the beach things like shells and seaweed at the beach and not taking them home.  They made sandcastles and had a great time making all sorts of different shapes.  The children had lunch and they played games as well.
We were all very tired because we had so much fun.
