Science in a Van - Bubbles

We had a visit from two people from 'Science in a Van'.  They came to talk to us about bubbles.  
They made a variety of different sized bubbles and even bubbles inside bubbles!!!  They talked about what mixture means and this is what you make to be able to blow bubbles.  They used water and dishwashing liquid as their first mixture.  Then they added oil to this mixture and asked the children to make a prediction or guess what will happen.  Ask your child what happened.  They also made a mixture of baking soda and vinegar and when it was mixed together the children discussed the reaction as foaming.
Some children from Room 4 were selected to help them with their experiments.
