 Constable Ian's visit to Room 4 - Thursday 15 April

Today Constable Ian came to visit Room 4.  

He told us that using a crossing is a very important skill to learn.  Using a crossing gets you to school safely.  There are three golden rules when we use a crossing:

STOP on the footpath.

LOOK left and right for cars.

LISTEN for cars.

There are lots of different traffic, all shapes and sizes.  It is important to use the zebra crossings.

We must use our eyes and ears before we use our feet.

We went outside with Constable Ian and used the crossing.  We had to wait until the road patrol monitor said, 'CROSS NOW' and then we walked between the lines.
