STEM - Woodwork with Mr Rankin
The students enjoyed working with Mr Rankin and the parent helpers today.  They made domino pieces from wood.  The students all used safety glasses and a some students wore a mask if they wanted to.  They measured pieces of wood and using a special machine they put the wood into it and then they used a saw to cut the wood.  It certainly was a team effort as a child cut the wood the other students held the machine underneath.
After they made the domino pieces they painted them and then Mr Rankin helped them put the dots on top of the wood.
All the students had a wonderful day of learning how to use machines.  They also used a vaccum cleaner to pick up the small pieces of wood.
