Working with Whaea Pen - Wednesday 3 July
This afternoon Whaea Pen worked with us. We sang lots of waiata's and worked on the Maori alphabet. We asked each other questions in Maori and some of the students shared this with the class. Whaea Pen read a story called Taniwha Taniwha which is about telling the time and she read it with us in Maori. We looked at ways to tell the time in Maori. Then we went outside and played a game all about the time.
