Working with Whaea Pen - Wednesday 24 July
Today the students focused on the words in Maori that show our feelings. The students enjoyed learning new songs. They discussed the words in Maori that relate to different directions. Whaea Pen read a story about different directions and the students moved to these words. The students played a game using paua shells. Two children were chosen and they clapped the paua shells together to see if they could move in the same direction, with their eyes closed. They discussed the Olympic Games and enjoyed working on an activity about this.
